Raven Symoné is one of the only child stars who has never gone off the deep end. She is deeply expressive, completely herself and fearlessly proud of who she is, but not crazy. Unfortunately, (especially as of late) her fellow child stars like Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes cannot say the same.

Symoné, in her new purple and green bob hairstyle, chatted with incomparable television mogul Oprah Winfrey about how she stayed away from the tabloids, drama and curse of being a child star in a new exclusive clip from Oprah: Where are They Now?

She credits her parents' strong points of views on fame for the reason why she could not be swept away by the blinding lights of celebrity. "My parents taught me to keep my private life private to the best of my ability," she revealed.

Also, after two decades in the entertainment industry, she knows the tricks of the trade and how to avoid paparazzi who stalk the likes of Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Shia Labeouf and more in sunny California. "It's unnecessary to go to the most popular restaurant in the world when you have a scandal on your head and then get mad that someone's gonna take a picture of you," she confidently stated.

She then added words of advice for her fellow child-turned-adult-stars and said, "That's your fault, Boo-Boo. Stay in the house."

Amanda Bynes and Shia Labeouf, who have recently come under fire for odd behavior and alleged drug abuse, should take a note from Symone's book, as they were on television at the same time. In fact, they even shared the stage on MTV's TRL in 2005. Hopefully, they tune in.
