Lebron James Turned Down By Lauren Perdue for Dinner; He's Engaged

NBA star and Olympian, Lebron James was turned down by Olympic swimmer, Lauren Perdue. He invited her to have dinner with him at the Olympic Village dining hall, but she turned him down due to a "curfew." However, Lebron James is currently engaged to be married and Perdue made a friendly invitation a trending topic via Twitter and an interview with Charlotte Observer.

"LeBron James just invited me to dinner...Um wuuuutttt?!?" Perdue posted on Twitter.

"He was kind of joking but he was basically like, 'Would you like to come eat with me at the dining hall?' And I said, 'Um, I'm sorry, I have a curfew. So I turned that one down, yeah," Perdue stated.

Shortly after Perdue's tweet, she posted an Instagram photo of her posing with James.

Lauren Perdue is considered one of the premiere female swimmers on the women's side for the United States. She recently led her team in qualifying for the 4x200 meter freestyle final at the 2012 London Olympics.
