No one expected Eric's (John McCook) announcement as to who would take over as CEO would go over smoothly, but things will take a turn that no one could have expected on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Eric Makes His Announcement

After Eric announces his decision, Maya (Karla Mosley) will use the moment to her advantage so she can expose the secret she thinks she knows about Rick's (Jacob Young) wife Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and his brother, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She has been actively trying to break Rick and Caroline up so she could get him back for some time, and will now expose that she saw Caroline and Ridge hugging-implying that something more was going on with them then working as a design team.

"Something has been going on at this company," she says in a preview clip for the Friday, October 24 episode.

Carter Calls Maya A Gold-Digger

Naturally, saying what she knows won't go over well in the board room, but it could force Caroline to admit that something more did happen between her and Ridge-the two kissed several times-and as a result, she will be left begging her husband for forgiveness.

"I am so sorry," she says to him. "You have to forgive me."

The only people unaware of the confessions and drama going on at Forrester at the moment however are Donna (Jennifer Garies) and Ridge's fiancée, Katie (Heather Tom)-though Katie is finally admitting that she is worried that she could wind up losing Ridge because of Caroline.

"I'm just so jealous of her time with him," she tells her sister in the clip. "I'm jealous that she can help him and I can't."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
