Marriage appears to be going well for Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg, as the comedienne and radio host can't stop gushing about her husband of nearly two months.

While promoting the Oct. 27 launch of her SiriusXM radio show Dirty, Sexy Funny, McCarthy opened up about her marriage, and gushed over how she feels about being with the New Kids on the Block singer and Blue Bloods star.

"Every night when we got to bed and I climb in bed and I see him laying there, I go, 'The feeling I get crawling in bed with you every night is like when I was little and my mom used to say your best friend can sleep over tonight,'" she told People Magazine.

"He definitely brings out the best in me, and I think I do the same for him," she added.

And while she loves waking up to him every morning, McCarthy also admits she's not the only one enamored with her new husband-because her son Evan couldn't be happier about having him in his life.

"I had a conversation with Evan, saying, 'How's it going with Donnie as your stepdad?' And he said, 'You know, I finally feel safe,'" McCarthy said. "And to me as a single mom, it felt like I did my job-not only really holding out to find the best stepdad for him, but also for me, the best husband out there."

And even though she's extremely happy that Wahlberg as a person overall makes such a great husband and father figure for her son, McCarthy also couldn't help but to admit that she loves looking at him as well.

"He's got overall heat," she said. "You know, you either got it or you don't, and he's got it."
