According to website Gotta Be Mobile on Thursday, there are a few expectant price drops with some very popular items. Buyers can expect to see at least $50 off the Xbox One, and Sony may be competing with Microsoft to make prices go even lower.

What's more, many big ticket items such as HDTVs from smaller brands will see price cuts, although bigger brands aren't expected to drop their prices until December.

For those looking for quick and cheap stocking stuffers, many retailers will be stocking their doorbuster deals with Blu-ray discs, video games and other electronic deals. In the past, retailers such as Amazon and BestBuy have offered Blu-ray discounts at up to 55% off.

In addition, Predictions from Dealnews.com include the original iPad Air reduced to $360, first generation iPad Mini at $199 and the 2013 MacBook Air for $699.

Many retailers are expected to open their doors 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.
