World Trade Center Workers Trapped: Two Window Washers Waiting To Be Rescued By FDNY From Dangling Scaffolding [PHOTOS]
The FDNY headed to One World Trade Center Wednesday to save two window washers who were trapped on a dangling scaffolding.
Port Authority confirmed the incident in the afternoon, adding that the two workers were trapped high above the street. The scaffolding was also hanging at a “75-degree angle,” police official John Miller said.
The new tower - the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere - stands at 1,776 feet with 104 stories.

Thirteen years after Sept. 11 attacks, One World Trade Center reopened on Nov. 3. Approximately 175 employees from Condé Nast, which includes Vanity Fair, Vogue and The New Yorker, moved into the offices.
“Condé Nast is proud to be a part of this important moment of renewal for the city of New York,” the company's spokeswoman Patti Rockenwagner said in a statement. “We are excited about contributing to the vitality of this community for years to come.”
