UPDATE: Allyson Felix Wins Gold in Final [PHOTOS[

Eight sprinters will compete in the women's 200-meter final relay, let us see who they are:

France's Myriam Soumare ranked second and third in her heats during the semifinals and round 1 of the 200-meter sprint. The 25-year-old, born in Paris, came in first during the women's 100-meter round 1 but did not make it far enough to the semifinals. She will have stiff competition on Aug. 8 but if she does not win a medal, she has another shot at glory in the women's 4x100-meter relay later on in the week.

Like Soumare, Trinidadian Semoy Hackett, 23, ranked second and third in her heats in both the semifinals and the 200-meter round 1 relay.  She came in second in her heat in round 1 of the women's 100-meter sprint but, also, she did not make it to the semifinals. Born in Scarborough, the athlete will go against two Jamaicans in the Aug. 8 finals.

From Team Jamaica, Shelly- Ann Fraser-Pryce, 25, and Veronica Campbell-Brown, 30, have both stepped up to win big at the Olympic Games. Fraser-Pryce won gold in the 100-meter dash at the 2008 Olympics and another gold in 100-meter at the 2009 World Championships so to no surprise, she got the gold on Aug. 4 at the event's finals. She ranked first in her heat in the 200-meter round 1 and second in the semifinals. Already a 200-meter champion, Campbell-Brown won the title at the 2011 World Championships and twice at the past two Olympic Games, making her the reigning world champion.

Americans Sanya Richards-Ross and Allyson Felix will also push their hardest on Wednesday. Richards-Ross, 27, already won this year's 400-meter gold medal and ranking no. 1 in her heats at the 200-meter round 1 and semifinals, she now wants a gold in the 200-meter. Felix will not make it easy for her though. The 25-year-old won silver for the 200-meter in both Athens and Beijing and is seeking to work her way up this time to get the gold. She also ranked no. 1 in her heats for the 200-meter round 1 and semifinals. American Carmelita Jeter, 32, will also run beside them. At the 2011 Worlds, she won the 100-meter gold, 200-meter silver and 4x100-meter gold.

Finally, Murielle Ahoure, 24, will sprint for Cote d'Ivoire. Her time of 22.49 seconds put her in second place at the 200-meter semifinals and the Aug. 8 final event might give her a chance to show her worth.

Watch the relay play out at 4 p.m. on NBC's official site for the Olympic Games.
