Honey Boo Boo Child aka Alana Thompson is the 6-year-old little girl who dresses up as a beauty queen on TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras". Now, she has landed a contract with TLC to have her own show titled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo".

The show will follow the lives of Honey Boo Boo and her family in a normal day to day setting.Alana's mother, June, told CNN, "America kind of wanted to know what our life was like outside of the pageant world, and this show will portray [that]."

What America and the world saw of the family was mostly the pageant preparation, which many people have criticized. This show gives the family a chance to show that they do "normal" things like other families including "mud bogging, four-wheel riding, going to community events" in June's words.Even with the negative feedback from viewers who do not agree with putting such a young child in the spotlight, June is does not regret it.

She gives Alana the choice to make the decision. If Honey Boo Boo is up for it, then the family will follow suit.

"We may do it for the next six months, we may end it next month," June said to CNN.

She insisted, "When [Alana] doesn't want to do TV or pageants, then we quit everything and go back to our normal lives. We live a very normal life outside of the cameras and outside of the pageant world."

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" aired Wednesday night (August 8) on TLC.
