Singer and reality star K. Michelle has spoken out about VH1's controversial new series Sorority Sisters; but what she might not have expected was for her comments to get their own backlash.

K. Michelle, who is a member of one of the sororities represented on the show Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. spoke with Kiki Brown of Q92 in Baltimore after the show premiered Monday night.

"It's not appropriate...I'm not a fake person in my beliefs. That should have never been touched...something should be sacred for us.

The sororities and fraternities are the one thing we look to in college that uplift the community. Things aren't peaches and cream, but everything doesn't need to be exposed when it comes to that. I have no respect for those women."

Still, fans seemed to think the VSOP singer's thoughts on the series was a little hypocritical considering she made her reality TV debut on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta before switching over to Love & Hip Hop New York.

"K. Michelle is mad about the reality show Sorority Sisters, yet she was on 'Love & Hip Hop.'"

"If Greeks are mad about the show #SororitySisters why don't they say anything when K. Michelle be on #LHH acting a fool & she's a delta."

Another added, "I haven't seen anybody complain about K. Michelle...And she was 10x worse than the 'Sorority Sisters' ...But that's 'yall girl'"

While another tweeted, "K Michelle doesn't get on tv doin the delta call and cursing her sorority sisters out in the same breath"

"So K. Michelle been acting a fool on TV on #LHH for years and she reps Delta Sigma Theta ALL the time. Yet, no call to pull that show."

During her interview K. Michelle did acknowledge interview that she has "acted a fool" on national television, but never did it with "Delta tatted on my back."
