Here’s a list of big chains that will stay open longer than usual to accommodate consumers. (They may vary depending on location.)

Good Books To Give As Gifts This Season

Macy’s:

On Monday, Dec. 22, and Tuesday, Dec. 23, the store will be open for 24 hours. On Dec. 24, Macy’s will open at 12 a.m. until 6 p.m., but will be closed on Christmas Day. On Friday, Dec. 26, the store will operate from 6 a.m to 11 p.m.

J.C. Penny:

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22 until Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Kohl’s:

On Monday, Dec. 22 and Tuesday, Dec. 23, the store will be open 24 hours. On Christmas Eve, Kohl’s will stay open from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be closed on Christmas. 

Kmart:

Starting Dec. 20 until Dec. 23, the store will be open from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. On Christmas Eve, Kmart will be open from 12:10 a.m. to 10 p.m., but will be closed on Christmas Day.

Toys ‘R Us:

Starting from Tuesday, the famous toy store will remain open for 24 hours every day, until 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Target:

On Dec. 23 and Dec. 24, the store will be open from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. The store will be closed on Christmas Day.

Amazon:

The online retailer is promising same-day delivery on Christmas Eve for any orders placed by 10 a.m. that day in 12 cities.

Walmart:

The store will stay open for 24 hours until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
