Since "The Pink Print" released on Dec. 15, Nicki Minaj has done just under 100 interviews to promote her new album. The content in her newest project is much more emotional than usual ("All Things Go" and "Bed of Lies"), prompting journalists to ask her about her personal life in interviews. So, because she can't run from the lyrics, she opened up several times about her current break up with her longtime boyfriend and rumored fiancee, Safaree Samuels.

Nicki Minaj Breaks Down In New Interview with Angie Martinez

In her newest interview with Angie Martinez, she had to take a break in the middle of the interview because she broke down in tears, explaining the details of her break up. "It's not just a relationship or a breakup, that was like a humongous part of my life... It's something I'm dealing with publicly. If I were not putting out an album I wouldn't talk about it...it's not easy," she said.

While many fans watched the interview and empathized with the 32-year-old rapper, Safaree reportedly got upset about how much she divulged and tried to blackmail her with some sort of video tape. On Saturday, Dec. 20, she had enough and took to Twitter to air out how she really felt about his alleged new plans to damage her career. He also responded.
