Back in November, actress Abigail Breslin released her debut single, You Suck, which seemed to heavily hint at a certain 5 Seconds of Summer member.

Last year after the Teen Choice Awards she stepped out on what appeared to be a date with Michael Clifford as reported by Daily Mail Online.

When Breslin released her song last month she revealed to Teen Vogue, "This is a song I wrote about those guys who are players and use people and just generally aren't really good people. It's about things I've witnessed-it's not OK when guys don't have respect for girls. I wrote it in the heat of the moment, and I think a lot of people will relate to it."

The song has spurred a lot of controversy, including plenty of backlash from 5SOS fans on Twitter.

Last Tuesday she spoke with Huffington Post Live's Josh Zepps, in which she discussed Clifford and her song in more detail.

"It was something that I wrote about a year ago. And I wrote it during a time where I kind of learned that-It's the first time when you learn that people can be deceitful and they'll tell you one thing and do something else entirely and you know that's not really cool and so it's the first time that you learn that," Breslin stated.

Zepps straight out asked if the song is about Clifford, but Breslin said, "it's about a bunch of different people." She seemed rather uncomfortable in this part of the segment as seen below and she claimed, "No, we never dated."

She further revealed, "We literally hung out twice. He got me tickets to a One Direction show and we went to dinner and that was it."

Zepps then asked about the Twitter situation when her song released and she called 5SOS a boy band and declared they "have a very, very strong, avid following. They're very passionate."
