Beyoncé and Jay Z are known for their jet-setting, fabulous lifestyle.  Each year, the hip hop's royal couple gifts each other with extravagant gifts on their birthdays, and for Jay Z's 45th, things were no different.  With Baby Blue Ivy in tow, the duo ventured out to a place many would not think they would be seen- Iceland- to have what looks to be, the time of their lives.

The Carter family loves a good beach outing, as fans have seen on their social media pages throughout the years.  But, this time around, they went for an environment that offered the exact opposite: snow, ice and extreme cold.  During their stay in Iceland, the family and a few of Jay's closest friends went on various adventures to enjoy a Winter Wonderland of their own, just in time for Christmas.

According to People.com, the couple stayed at a top of the line, luxury resort called The Trophy Lodge and saw as many sites as possible in the several days they stayed, surrounding Hov's Dec. 4 birthday date.

In the photos, posted on Beyonce's personal tumblr page, the couple is seen glancing over thousands of miles of beautiful white snow, throwing up the roc sign in a few stunning locales, creating snow angels and rocking the best furs money can buy.
