Former late night talk show host Chelsea Handler is well known for her sharp tongue and witty personality.

Handler used to host her own talk show on E! called Chelsea Lately, and every night, fans watched as the host joked about touchy subjects and poked fun at A-list celebs. 

It's clear that Handler really has no filter and she's definitely not afraid to say what's on her mind.

While the singer may often times come off as a laugh out loud television personality, her fans saw a softer side of her after she shared a very touching photo.

On Thursday, Handler shared a photo of her skiing in the mountains with a caption that says, "I finally got to ski with my mom watching over me! Merry Christmas to everyone you love."

Aside from the heart-warming message attached to the image, in the photo, the fans can see a beautiful rainbow in the skyline, and the photo was such a great way to pay homage to her mom.

According to E!, the comedian's mother died back in 2012 after battling breast cancer for sometime.

While losing her mother was definitely a devastating loss, it's clear that Handler is passionate about living her life to the fullest.

Handler is promoting her Netflix special "Uganda Be Kidding Me" available for streaming on Netflix.
