Gold medal winning gymnast McKayla Maroney seemed to have herself a pretty comfortable holiday based on a photo she posted on Instagram where she wore matching PJ's.

On Wednesday, the gymnast uploaded the image where she takes a faraway shot in a mirror selfie. She wears a red and white long-sleeved shirt with matching pants. She gives a side shot where she bends a knee and lets her long hair come down her shoulder.

Her house looks pretty decorated for the holidays with a Christmas tree and a number of stockings hanging on the wall. A couch is behind the gymnast as well where a white cat is resting comfortably on top.

Maroney captioned the photo, "Merry Christmas Eve <3"

While Maroney is known for being an Olympic superstar, she also became a popular hit on Instagram with more than 600,000 followers. Most of her photos are random selfies that show off her complexion where she gives an elegant and natural style. In a recent interview with Adidas, she mentioned that social media is something that can give her pleasure.

"It's great to be able to motivate people by posting little inspirational mantras, but I also like to have fun with social media," she said. "It's definitely one of the most important things in my life- to have that connection with my friends and fans. That's my chance to let people learn a little bit about who I am."
