The New Year's Rockin' Eve co-hosts spoke to E! News ahead of their hosting gig in Times Square tonight, and McCarthy hinted that she might try to get Seacrest into a liplock with the very famous headliner for this year's show-Taylor Swift!

"Now I have to do that, I promise you," she says. "I think Taylor Swift would be perfect!"

McCarthy also admitted that she thought Swift was a perfect choice for Seacrest to kiss at midnight because he also rang in 2014 by getting into a liplock with that show's headliner-Miley Cyrus-which McCarthy insisted the cameras missed.

"Cause Miley kissed you last year and they missed it on camera," McCarthy said.

"They did? She did? That happened?" Seacrest joked. "It was the first kiss I had in 2015, I guess. Or 2014."

"Miley Cyrus, not bad," McCarthy then added. "So Taylor Swift this year, I'm going to make it happen."

As for herself, McCarthy already knows who she'll kiss at midnight-her new hubby.

"I can't kiss strangers anymore, per my husband's request," she said.

During the 2014 New Year's show McCarthy and Wahlberg-who were just dating at the time-had their kiss caught on camera, which proved to be part of an intense makeout session that Seacrest later teased McCarthy about.

"We saw you making out a second ago...what's going on?" he asked at the time.

"I gotta tell you, Ryan, in the four years I've done this, this guy is hands-down the best kisser. He's definitely got the right touch," she replied.
