She was only locked up for a few hours before she was bailed out and sent to retrieve her car from an Atlanta impound lot. Now, she has decided to break her silence on the matter in a statement from her publicist.

"I was headed to visit my grandfather who is very ill with cancer in the hospital, and I was pulled over. I was wrong for speeding absolutely and apologize for putting anyone at risk. I tried to explain the situation to the officer and show him that all my paperwork was in order, but he refused. Handcuffs are not comfortable or a good look for anyone. I was released, I have my license, my car, and my freedom."

Porsha Williams Responds to Our Interview With Kenya Moore

Just a few days before, the host told her co-host's that she was completely different from the woman who hit Kenya Moore at the last reunion of #RHOA after she was nominated for the best celebrity mug shot of 2014. "I don't know who that girl is," she joked. "She has changed her ways, she has become a better person, okay. She is in the world now, not of the world!"

According to the initial report, the Dish Nation host's grandfather is not doing much better. Still, she and her sister Lauren partied and brought in the New Year at her publicists beach wedding.
