Jef Holm feels betrayed by his brother.

Holm's brother, Mike, confirmed Us Weekly's allegations about "Bachelorette" star Emily Maynard's affair, stating that it was "100 percent true" early on Aug. 23.

But Holm is not keeping quiet. On Twitter he wrote, "It's crazy what people will do, even family members, to see their name in a magazine."

He retweeted one of his follower's encouraging words: "@jefholm Everyone has someone like that in their family. Trust in what u 2 have. Wishing u all the best."

In fact, Holm is not letting the rumors or family drama affect his day. On Thursday, he tweeted a photo taken after Ricki's -Maynard's 7-year-old daughter - first day of school. Part of the caption read, "First day of first grade was a success."

He also tweeted a photo of him driving Ricki, and what appear to be two of her friends, around. The photo's caption read, "Carpool dad."

Us Weekly reported that over the Aug. 18 weekend, Holm took Maynard's phone and discovered she had been having an affair with another man. The scene took place at a vacation rental in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where Holm took Maynard and Ricki to meet his extended family.

"There were texts and pictures: 'Let's do this and that to each other,' " a source told Us Weekly. "Jef and Emily went into a bedroom and were yelling. He said 'you've been f*cking cheating on me for months!' "

According to the source, Maynard did not want to lose Holm and pleaded with him, but he told her to "pack her sh*t and get the f*ck out." The report claimed Ricki and Maynard left the family compound at 1 a.m.

Though the reality TV couple denied these rumors, Mike said, "I was there and I heard the fight and watched the whole thing go down, Emily leaving and everything. I love my brother very much and, like the rest of our family, I just want him to be happy."

Holm's brother said he hopes the engagement is still on.

"We all love Emily, too. Mistakes happen, we all get that," he explained. "I hope they can work it all out, but as far as your story goes, it's all true."

On Aug. 22, Maynard told People magazine the cheating accusations are "one hundred percent not true."

"It's funny to me. We were in a gated community in a private home with just my brothers and sisters," Holm said to the magazine. "It's just bogus a 'source' would [say] we were fighting. None of that is true."

The couple noted that they are now back in Charlotte, where Holm said he's spent the past two days looking at apartments and condos to move into so he can be closer to his fiancé and her daughter.

"I have never been more in love or felt more confident about our relationship," Maynard claimed. "We're so excited about the future and to be back in Charlotte and things are actually happening - looking at places to live and going to school. I'm happier than I've ever been."
