Keith Urban might have been the only one last week who wasn't surprised by wife Nicole Kidman's blind date story last week.

Keith Urban Goofs Around With His Wife On The Red Carpet

On Jan. 6 the Paddington actress drew attention on NBC's The Tonight Show when she revealed that she'd gone on a blind date with Jimmy Fallon years early. "I just remember I liked you," noted Kidman. "I'm single and I'm like, 'Yeah, cool.' So I go over, and you're there in a baseball cap, and you wouldn't talk. You didn't say anything."

It's no surprise the date went poorly, especially since Fallon didn't know it was a date at all. He though they'd been set up to talk about a film project.

While Kidman was somewhat embarrassed by the story, she told Extra on Jan. 9 that the public admission didn't shock her musician husband.

"He knew the story because we watch Fallon [on television]…" explained Kidman. "I don't think he knew it in that detail. It was fun. I'm so glad Jimmy was so good-natured about it. He was laughing, but I think he was pretty shocked."

Both Fallon and Kidman are now happily married to other people, and Kidman couldn't be more pleased with the life she's built with Urban. Though they met later in life, the actress knows it's the right fit.

Kidman and Urban currently live in Nashville with their two young daughters, six-year-old Sunday Rose and four-year-old Faith Margaret.
