A new bromance might just be blossoming between country singers Keith Urban and Tim McGraw.

McGraw sat down for an interview with KTIC Rural Radio on Tuesday and the Meanwhile Back At Mama's singer couldn't help but gush about one guy he's always respected.

"He's one of my favorite people," admitted McGraw of Urban. "He's a really good guy."

McGraw also noted that his fellow country star and Highway Don't Care collaborator has been doing great as a judge on Fox's American Idol. He respects the way Urban represents country music on a series that is so mainstream.

"As far as somebody who represents country music and the face of somebody, and the music of somebody that you want out there representin' what you do," said McGraw. "He's certainly somebody that I would want to hold up and a light on, for us."

In September McGraw saw the release of his latest album, Sundown Heaven Town, while Urban celebrated the releasse of a new music video for Somewhere In My Car off Fuse (featured below). Both were well-received at the CMA Awards in November. Both performers spent most of the year prior to the CMA Awards touring the country.

Urban currently lives in Nashville, Tenn. with his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, and their two young daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

American Idol and Keith Urban return on Fox Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
