Carrie Underwood might be taking on more than she can handle this year as she prepares for the birth of her son.

The Something In The Water singer and her husband, Mike Fisher, insist on keeping the due date for their child private, but the baby boy is expected sometime this spring.

With the launch of her new fitness line and her gig as the Almay Spokeswoman, Underwood already has her hands full even without a full touring schedule. It's possible then as her due date approaches that the singer might not be able to commit to all of her ongoing projects.

Back in December Billboard announced that Underwood is scheduled to headline the Big Barrel Country Music Festival alongside Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert this June.

Given that Underwood is expected to give birth between April and May, it seems the star will be cutting it pretty close. After spending some bonding time with her son at home in Nashville, Underwood may be unwilling or unable to pack up and hit the road.

Underwood and Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, announced back in September that they are expecting their first child together. Both parents-to-be have been moving non-stop ever since and Underwood hasn't slowed down a bit. From performing live to putting out a new album, the singer's been at the top of her game.

There is a major difference, however, between being pregnant and actually having the child and Underwood might just find herself rethinking her 2015 schedule after the baby is born.

The Big Barrel Country Music Festival will take place in Dover, Del. from June 26-28, 2015.
