Carrie Underwood took some time out last week to honor the life and career of Little Jimmy Dickens.
The Something In The Water singer not only attended the Nashville service on Jan. 8, she also gave an incredibly moving performance of the 1995 ballad Go Rose High On That Mountain with fellow country artist Vince Gill.
According to Us Weekly on Jan. 9, the 31-year-old Underwood wore a black fitted dress which left nothing to hide and accentuated her baby bump.
Little Jimmy Dickens sadly passed away on Jan. 2 at the age of 94 after suffering cardiac arrest at a hospital in Nashville. He'd originally been admitted for a stroke on Dec. 25. He was the oldest member of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, which was where the service was appropriately held on Jan. 8.
After hearing of Dickens passing Underwood posted a statement on Twitter Jan. 2 which paid tribute the Dickens as the man, the musician and the friend.
I know why it's raining in Nashville. Little Jimmy is in heaven now making the Angels laugh so hard, they're crying. We'll miss you, friend!

Underwood is expected to give birth to her darling baby boy this spring. It will be the first child for her and husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators.
Underwood's latest album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, was released on Dec. 9.
