With a hit album, flourishing career, and a baby on the way, Almay couldn't have picked a better spokeswoman than Carrie Underwood.

Pregnancy Might Force Carrie Underwood To Back Out Of Festival In 2015 

On Wednesday Almay debuted the Something In The Water singer's new beauty commercial and it doesn't take much for Underwood to look like an all-American girl.

"Almay celebrates the true spirit of American beauty, which ruies from the heart of our great country," declared the mother-to-be in the latest ad.

"Everybody has something about them that is absolutely gorgeous," continued Underwood, "But sometimes it's nice to have a little help to bring that all out."

The singer shared the commercial with followers on Twitter Tuesday, insisting that she had a blast shooting it. Based on the state of her baby bump, the ad seems to have been shot pretty early on in her pregnancy.

Underwood famously does all her own makeup both at home and out on the road before concerts. This allows Almay the benefit of having both Underwood's natural beauty and do-it-yourself attitude to appeal to consumers.

In September Underwood and husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, announced that they are expecting their first child. Underwood is expected to give birth to their baby boy this spring.

Her latest album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, was released on Dec. 9.
