Prince George will never meet his grandmother, Princess Diana, but the boy will certainly know who she was as he grows older.

"[Diana] would have been the naughtiest, funniest, and the best [grandmother] ever," said Sarah Ferguson on The Meredith Vieira Show on Wednesday. "Just because she loved her boys so much and she would be so proud of all them and what they've accomplished."

According to the Daily Mail, it is uncertain whether or not Prince William and Princess Kate will name their second child after William's mother, who died in a car accident in 1997. Her death was widely publicized and controversial because of the nature of the accident, which is believed to have occurred while the car was attempting to flee the paparazzi.

Sarah is the ex-wife of Diana's brother-in-law, Prince Andrew. As such she has watched Diana's children grow and flourish despite the tragedy of their youth.

"They really are extraordinary boys," said Sarah of William and his brother, Prince Harry. She also had a few things to say about Kate, and it would seem like Sarah is just as enamored with the new princess as the rest of the world.

"Catherine is incredible…" she declared. "I think they are a beautiful example of a great family, totally in love and with that delicious little George."

Princess Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
