"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak should be celebrating her new baby, but instead she might have to spend time fighting her own mother in court.

On Aug. 28, filed a petition in Georgia's Fulton County Superior Court against Kim, 34, asking for visitation of her grandchildren Ariana, 9, and Brielle, 15.

The court documents state that Ariana and Brielle "live such a crappy, abnormal life being on TV-they need a normal haven to relax and unwind and just be kids," according to E! News.

Karen, 55, also alleged that the children "usually don't want to leave when they come over because it's so calm and comfortable at our house," but that Kim "won't let them come over."

But, she claimed, it hasn't always been that way. The grandmother recalls having "spent time with the girls on a regular basis since they were born," and said the sisters "have spent a lot of time at our house cooking, baking, doing crafts, having sleepovers, playing with our dogs, making hot fudge sundaes, eating 'poppy' burgers."

Aside from blaming Kim's shows "Real Housewives" and "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding," she also points to 26-year-old Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Beirmann, Kim's husband since Nov. 2011.

Karen said "before Kroy came into Kim's life, we spent a Christmas in the Bahamas with them."

And she does not like the way she's come across on TV.

"Bravo TV needed drama for Kim's show 'Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding'," she added. "They portrayed me as a bad person."

During the special, Kim was shown kicking her mother out of her wedding after she threatened to burn her house down.

Beirmann and Kim just welcomed their edition on Kash on Aug. 15 and are also the parents of 15-month-old Kroy Jr.
