Smirnoff was rumored to be leaving before season 20 after a new report came out from Terri Clark's Litcetera suggesting that she announced she was leaving on the Dancing With the Stars Live! Tour. However, she took to Instagram in the wake of concerned fans wanting to know the truth.

"Tired of my words being misconstrued," she wrote in the caption to her new photo on Instagram. "If I have an announcement to make, I will make it personally. And I promise that it won't be during a Q&A. So no, these assertions should definitely not be in quotes and are just an attempt for attention. This is in reference to the article that came out of Denver after one of the shows with @DancingProsLive."

Based on her comments, she may not be leaving Dancing With the Stars after all, though she technically didn't say one way or the other what she was going to do.

Smirnoff has been with Dancing With the Stars since season 3, only skipping season 10 through the years. She has earned one Mirrorball Trophy back in season 13 with J.R. Martinez and has made the finals with Mario Lopez, Jacoby Jones and Corbin Bleu in other seasons.

Dancing With the Stars is slated to return for season 20 on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
