A lot has changed since Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) left L.A., and after dealing with the changes regarding her son's marriage, she will turn her attentions elsewhere and begin focusing on the man she left behind on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke Gives Maya A Warning

After a constant on/off relationship with Bill (Don Diamont), Brooke decided she needed to get away to Italy for a while, and encouraged Bill and Katie (Heather Tom) to rekindle their flame while she was gone. The two did, and have since reunited, but his newly formed relationship with his ex-wife won't keep Bill from seeing Brooke again when news gets out that she's back in L.A.

However, the reunion may not go so sweetly, as Brooke potentially tries to apologize for leaving abruptly-and possibly learns that she is losing out on being with him for good this time.

Brooke Learns The Truth About Caroline and Ridge

"I can understand your frustration with me and I...I probably could have handled this in a better way," she says to him in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Jan. 28 episode.

If Bill does turn her down, it could mean Brooke will truly be alone for the first time in a long time-as the three men who she was most deeply involved with before she left have all since moved on-Bill is back with Katie, Deacon (Sean Kanan) has hooked up with Quinn (Rena Sofer), and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is pursuing a romance with Caroline (Linsey Godfrey).

However, the fact that she could be single will cause Quinn some worry, since she knows Deacon originally came back to L.A. to get Brooke back-and it could bring out her more vulnerable side as she worries about the state of her relationship.

"Bill and Katie are together again," she says to Deacon in the clip. "Where does that leave Brooke?"

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
