According to the International Business Times (via Reality Tea) this past week, Hyland is trying to stay as far away as she can from the Dance Moms drama as she is trying to build a name for herself in the entertainment world.

She said, "I used to watch YouTube videos a lot so I thought that it would be a good way to interact with my fans and for them to see what I'm doing now," adding that she hosts question and answer segments, room tours, and breaks down her daily routines. As for inspiration, she shares, "I do a lot of what they tell me to do!"

And while Hyland has been doing pretty well on her own, the teenage sensation cites her friends and family as her biggest supporters.

She added, "I didn't think that they would watch them but they actually do. I go to school and my friend will say the line that I said and I'm like, 'Oh, gosh.' But I think they like them... It's fun for them to watch."

Meanwhile, it looks as though Kelly Hyland's lawsuit against Abby Lee Miller is moving forward in court.

According to Hyland, her daughter Paige suffered from panic attacks while Miller emotionally berated her. The controversial dance instructor had even allegedly thrown a chair at her during one of their dance practices.

According to The Hollywood Reporter on Nov. 20, Judge Kwan said that Hyland can proceed forward with her claims against Miller, which include negligence and breach of contract.
