While many of today's biggest stars were living the life on the red carpet at last week's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, former chart topper LeAnn Rimes played a concert at a Louisiana parking lot that same night. A new report says that the country singer had a difficult time engaging her audience during a family-friendly event which was held near a 6-lane road across a local mall.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, which has exclusive photos of Rimes on stage, Rimes' husband Eddie Cibrian was nowhere to be seen while the site describes her show as an "oddly disjointed performance."

The site wrote, "Rimes talked a lot. She likes to talk between songs, about herself mostly, how talented she is, and about her perceived past accomplishments and stardom. Her singing was better than expected, but her narcissistic offhand comments between songs, followed by her own laughter (the audience didn't laugh with her), made for an oddly disjointed performance."

Meanwhile, there were also reports that the country singer might have "thrown some shade" at singer Katy Perry in a post she shared on her Instagram account before The Grammys last weekend.

In a throwback photo that she shared of herself when she was 14, Rimes wrote, "Before @katyperry shot whipped cream from her cones, I had a pair of my own. #14 #whatwereyoudoingat14 #stillsurreal #goodlucktoallthisyearsnominees #momtoomanycurlsandtoomuchhairspray #flashbackfriday".

While there are some who think that Rimes didn't intentionally "diss" Perry in her post, others believe that the message was rather passive-aggressive as well.
