The much-anticipated "Real Housewives of New Jersey" season final, appearing Sept. 23, is almost upon us.

So what exactly went down for all the "Housewives" including her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and her brother Joe Gorga to keep away from Teresa Giudice for more than a year?

Giudice confronted Melissa over her alleged stripper past.

How did Giudice get this information that Melissa was actually a stripper?

According to RadarOnline, the drama began pouring in when Angelo Voorhees, a salon PR manager, approaches Kim DePaola and Giudice while they are getting done up for DePaulo's "Posche" (her boutique) fashion show.

The ladies are stunned to hear Voorhees say, "I must say Teresa, it's actually a small world we live in. I know your sister-in-law Melissa. We go way back... She actually worked for me. At a little gentlemen's club in Elizabeth."

Asked what her job was, he responded, "Well, she danced for me."

Giudice's jaw dropped.

According to RadarOnline, during the Posche event, Voorhees approached Gorga and said, "Hi Melissa, you remember me right?"

Earlier this year, The Huffington Post spoke to a secret network insider of the showdown.

"Bravo's surprise at the fashion show was for Melissa: her ex-boss at Lookers, the strip club she used to work at. No one knew him, no one knew he was coming...and Melissa ran away from him and refused to film with him."

Once the rumors emerged, Melissa took to her website and wrote, "This is 100% NOT TRUE."

Gorga said she was briefly a bartender at a bikini bar and claimed, "My outfit was a tank top, shorts and sneakers. SORRY, no bubbies there."

Apparently, Joe and Melissa believe Teresa tried to ambush her.

"The reason Joe hasn't spoken to Teresa is because of the stripper drama. Joe revealed at the reunion that Teresa told their father that Melissa was a stripper and that their father went back to Joe Gorga and told him Teresa said that," a show insider told AllAboutTRH.

The source claims that Teresa denied telling her father that and said she just heard it was a rumor, but Joe's mind was already set -- he didn't believe his sister.

"Things got real ugly between them but Teresa got extremely emotional talking to her brother who she had not seen in a year."

On 'Watch What Happens Live!' Teresa shared Joe's "lies" with host Andy Cohen. Teresa said she called her father and he denied ever telling her brother Joe that. However, Cohen stopped her from revealing anymore about the reunion.

Gorga hinted the reunion, which was taped Sept. 7, on her 'Bravo' blog.

"Well, let me start by saying we filmed the reunion this past week, and boy oh boy words cannot even explain the craziness. That day is probably the hardest part of being a Housewife and being on Bravo. We got through it, and I am so glad it's over. It was pretty emotional and very intense, but it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."
