Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have been married for nine years, but the country singer and Oscar-winning actress don't let time diminish the romance between them.

The stars tied the knot in 2006 and on Saturday Urban dished out a little advice on how they keep the romance going in their relationship. "I mean for me, I think a lot of it has to do with just staying present," the Somewhere In My Car singer told Taste Of Country.

"When we start relationships, we're so capable of honoring each other at the beginning...with cards and flowers and chocolates and attention and affection and priority," explained Urban. "And then all of that all too many times starts to drift away, and it drifts away because it's easy at the beginning. It just happens naturally."

For Urban, avoiding the downfalls of time is all about keeping things special in little ways. He makes a point to get his wife flowers or make time for a weekend away together, encouraging the relationship to strengthen rather than fade away. Kidman often accompanies Urban on tours, while Urban in turn walks the red carpet at many of Kidman's movie premieres. Earlier this month the couple were seen getting cozy on the red carpet at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Urban and Kidman currently live in Nashville with their two daughters, six-year-old Sunday Rose and four-year-old Faith Margaret.
