Atticus Aldridge seems to be making everyone fall in love with him on Downton Abbey even though there is only one woman who's on his mind- Lady Rose.

When Is 'Downton Abbey' Coming To An End?

On Sunday, PBS released a Q&A with Matt Barber (Atticus) who mentioned what it is about Rose that his character adores.

"That she is a very free spirit, very modern in her thinking, kind, inclusive, and she is a wonderfully, positive, energetic person," the actor said. "She's not worried about where people come from or what she 'should' think; she judges people on who they really are."

Barber then revealed how things are going to continue with Atticus' involvement with Rose's family. As it turns out, things are likely going to turn out for the best with some challenges here and there.

"Atticus feels like the kind of guy who would fit in anywhere- although he's not afraid to stick up for what he believes is right," the actor said. "Rose's mum can be a bit tricky, rather like [Atticus'] dad, so as long as all that's okay, he'll get on just fine."

Barber also pointed out the similarities and differences that he and his character share.

"I think [Atticus is] a good guy who has a clear idea of what's right and wrong," Barber explained. "But he's a bit less fiery than me though- and probably more patient! He's young and excited about life and where it's going and with his new job and wonderful fiancee; things seem to be falling into place for him."

Downton Abbey airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on PBS.
