A new sneak peek for the next episode of ABC's Castle features Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) potentially coming face to face with an alien.

'Castle's Ryan Has Something Go 'Horribly Awry' In Dramatic New Episode?

ABC has released a new sneak peek for Monday night's episode of Castle, which is titled The Wrong Stuff. The clip features Castle and Beckett exploring what appears to be a spaceship.

"Planets, dank access ways. Is it just me or does this remind you of Alien?" Castle asks Beckett in the clip.

"I know that you want this to be science fiction but we are not in space," Beckett retorts.

"No but wouldn't you like it to be? Come on, you're a Sci Fi geek, wouldn't you just love to go to Mars?"

Beckett then informs Castle that she actually applied to be part of a Mars program without him, during a time when she did not particularly care for her future husband.

It is then that a creature enters the scene looking like an alien. Castle asks her if she "heard" the alien, at which point he looks directly at the odd-looking creature.

From this clip alone, it appears that this episode will be a fun one, especially compared to the two-parter that just aired, which featured Jerry Tyson (Michael Mosley) and Dr. Kelly Nieman (Annie Wersching) terrorizing Castle and Beckett.

Castle airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
