Details about 15 dinosaurs of the 18 set to feature in Jurassic World have now been revealed, via the official movie website.

Information, pictures and specs about each of the dinosaurs has been gradually been revealed on the website. Here are the details for some of the dinorsaurs:

1. Ankylosaurus

Name meaning: "Fused Lizard"

2. Edmontosaurus

The movie has been directed by Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins and Judy Greer. 

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise. Irrfan Khan and Ty Simpkins also star in the movie.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
