"It was a great time," Aguilera said, but she admitted she "never felt truly connected to the first album" she recorded.

"I didn't feel myself," she said of being clumped into the group of pop stars that came to rise in the late nineties.

"And so Stripped was literally my title for just what it was. It was me stripping anything from that first album that I thought was superficial or not myself and I had a blast with that record," she revealed.

She explained how it was her coming of age and just feeling everything.

"From feeling hurt or burned. That became Fighter," Aguilera shared.

"Feeling vulnerable and insecure. That became Beautiful," she added as well as mentioning, "To feeling 21 and free and sort of experimenting with my own sexuality and what that is creatively. That was Dirrty."

The video divulged that Aguilera's Stripped to date has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
