Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk back on a spaceship, what more could you want? Other than season 2 of Firefly, of course.

'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Claire Novak Has A Return Date, Why Will She Reunite With Castiel?

Fillion and Tudyk may no longer be Wash and Mal, but the two actors are teaming up to bring sci-fi fans a brand new web series in the form of Con Man. They just need a little help from you first. Cue to pair's new Indigogo campaign.

"Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk-Me!) was a co-star on Spectrum, a sci-fi series which was canceled -Too Soon- yet became a cult classic," Tudyk summarizes. "Wray's good friend, Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) starred in the series and has gone on to become a major movie star. While Jack enjoys the life of an A-lister, Wray tours the sci-fi circuit as a guest of conventions, comic book stores, and lots of pop culture events. The show will feature all the weird and crazy things that happen to Wray along the way to these events."

'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2: Robert Gonzales Confirmed SHIELD Agent, When Will Edward James Olmos Appear?

A fun look at the sci-fi convention world and the fan favorites that appear there, the series will include a veritable who's who of previous Joss Whedon actors, including Sean Maher (Firefly), Gian Torres (Firefly), Amy Acker (Angel, Dollhouse), Seth Green (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Felicia Day (every sci-fi series ever... I'm kidding, but seriously, her résumé reads like a sci-fi lover's dream), and James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), according to Entertainment Weekly.

Fillion and Tudyk were looking for $425,000 to fund the first three 10-minute episodes, a steep price that will be quickly gobbled up by staging fake conventions, building a spaceship, and paying their highly sought after cast. Thanks to an outpouring of fan support, the creators have already managed to raise over $622,000 in less than 24 hours.
