A new untethered iOS 6 Jailbreak has reportedly been made available that should be compatible with the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, as well as the iPad 2, New iPad, iPod Touch (4th and 5th Generation).

The jailbreak has excited new iPhone customers, as it will allow iPhone 5 users to unlock their devices.

Often jailbreaks can turn out to be unreliable, but this one has been promised to be the most reliable to date, according to the developers who released it.

The jailbreak is not free, however, which sometimes puts a lot of customers off. Apple device users are being asked to pay $19.95 to obtain the jailbreak.

However, knowing that this will potentially put off a lot of people, the developers have said they offer a full 30-day money back guarantee of there are any issues with the software. They also promise to provide users with lifetime updates and support. However, Enstarz cannot verify the authenticity of these guarantees nor the jailbreak itself.

Just last week pictures were released by Grant Paul, which showed the iPhone 5 running an iOS 6 jailbreak. Grant Paul provided a number of screen shots of the device running it, on his Twitter account. Those photos have not been authenticated, and according to YouMobile.org, the photos do not guarantee anything.

Meanwhile Grant Paul claimed that the jailbreak took about half an hour to conduct, and he even claimed it was easier to do on the iPhone 5 than the iPhone 4S.

Another jailbreak available is the iPhone Dev-Team's Redsn0w jailbreak, which is compatible on iOS 6 on numerous devices including the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the fourth generation iPod Touch. However, it is tethered, so the process must be repeated every time a reboot is conducted.

Apple has tried to really make the iPhone 5 stand out, with a bigger screen and the introduction of the in-cell touch technology. But according to a new IHS iSuppli report, the sixth generation iPhone lags behind the Galaxy S3 when it comes to the screen thinness and color gamut.

Measurements from the IHS iSuppli Teardown Analysis Service state that the display of the iPhone 5 is just 1.5 millimeters thick, a 0.6-millimeter reduction from 2.1 millimeters for its predecessor, the iPhone 4S.

In addition, the color gamut of the iPhone 5 has risen to 72 percent of the NTSC standard, compared to 50 percent for the 4S.

However, this falls short of the Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S3 that has a display with a thickness of just 1.1 millimeters and a color gamut with full 100 percent NTSC.

(***Since the publication of this article Enstarz has been made aware of a number of claims that the untethered jailbreak described in this article is a fake. Although we have been unable to verify this also, users are advised to use caution)
