"Parrish has a major part in the whole plot of Season 5. He is a big deal," series creator Jeff Davis teased, according to Buzzfeed. "You may not find out what he is in [the first half of the season], but within the 20 episodes, you will definitely know."

A popular belief is that Parrish (Ryan Kelley) is a phoenix, but it remains to be seen if the cop is immune to anything beside immolation.

"I think a lot of people will want to know, including Ryan Kelley," Davis teased during the "Perishable" edition of Wolf Watch. "We keep a lot of secrets, and often times we keep secrets from the actors. But I will say it's very interesting whether he's impervious to all things or just to impervious to fire or whether it's something else."
