On Friday, Ryan Reynolds finally showed off Wade Wilson's new suit - and iconic irreverent attitude - in the first photo for Fox's Deadpool.
"With great power, comes great irresponsibility. #deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie," Reynolds tweeted, striking a come-hither pose as the "Merc With A Mouth."
The 2016 film will follow the adventures of Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative turned anti-hero mercenary. Equipped with accelerated healing powers courtesy of a rouge experiment, the highly trained soldier now spends his days mouthing off and hunting the man who nearly ended his life.
"Sometimes the bad guy isn't the villain," Reynolds tweeted.
Directed by Tim Miller, the upcoming film will feature Reynolds, TJ Miller (Weasel), Gina Carano (Angel Dust), Style Dayne (Jermey), Ed Skrein, and Morena Baccarin (Vanessa). Produced by Marvel's Kevin Feige, Deadpool is slated for a Feb. 12 release.
