Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott might be one of the hottest couples in the celebrity world, but when it comes to their family, they like to celebrate their children's milestones in the same way that we do. The reality television stars helped celebrate their son Liam's 8th birthday with a low-key birthday party at popular indoor playground Scooter's Jungle this past weekend.

"It's hard to believe, but Liam turned eight years old a couple of weeks ago. Where did all of the time go?" Tori wrote on her personal website. "I still remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. Anyways, you know how we like to go big for birthday parties."

She added, "The kids played, ate some lunch, enjoyed an amazing cake and then took home a cute pair of Skechers Game Kicks. It was such a fun afternoon spent with family and friends celebrating our birthday boy."

The Hollywood actress also admitted that while she and her mom have had a hard time getting along in the past, they are trying to set their differences aside for the sake of Tori's four children, which also include daughter Stella and Hattie and her son Finn.

"My mom and I have a really complicated relationship," Tori recently admitted to E! News. "We see each other when it's appropriate for the children...There's definitely not a feud."
