Last week 5 Seconds of Summer announced the signing of the first band, Hey Violet, to their label Hi Or Hey Records.

Now on Tuesday the Aussies revealed through their label's Twitter that Hey Violet would be joining them on tour as their opening act.

The Rock Our With Your Socks Out Tour kicks off in May, but Hey Violet will not be present for all the dates seeing as they are only opening for the European and North American legs.

Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford and Ashton Irwin are "excited" that their "mates" are joining them on tour.

The band members of Hey Violet are equally excited. They "can't wait to meet everyone" and they're really stoked to play their new tunes.

They even made an adorably funny video below that they shared on their Twitter showing their excitement. Rena Lovelis took off running to go pack for tour!

The bands will tour together with shows in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom during May and the beginning of June.

5 Seconds of Summer will continue their tour in their homeland and New Zealand before hitting the States beginning on July 17 in Nevada, where Hey Violet will begin opening for them again.

The two bands will play shows in California, Washington, various cities in Canada, Minnesota, Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida until the middle of September.
