The actor was spotted flying out of LAX on Saturday and later spotted in Paris the following day, where he was scheduled to do some press for his directorial debut film, Lost River.

The film, which starred his girlfriend Eva Mendes, Christina Hendricks and Saoirse Ronan, initially got mixed reviews at Cannes last year, but is scheduled for a wide release beginning April 10.

Unfortunately, the obligations did keep Gosling away from his girlfriend and daughter during the holiday, though it likely won't be something which causes issues in the couple's romance.

Split rumors have continually plagued the couple throughout their nearly four-year romance, and have only continued to flow following the birth of their daughter last September.

Rumors surfaced in February that Gosling and Mendes had split after they were spotted in different cities.

Gosling was photographed leaving a studio in Santa Monica, California on Friday, Feb. 20, mere hours after Mendes was spotted walking solo through JFK Airport in New York.

However, other rumors have continued to hint that the couple was better than ever with an even stronger relationship, and that they were even planning on getting engaged this summer.

"They'll get formally engaged over the summer and don't want a long engagement," sources said at the time.
