Vikings' Rollo has the attention span of a gnat, or at least he does when a beautiful woman enters his field of vision.

Burning oil, flying arrows, the screams of the dying - if you are Rollo, all these can easily be ignored when you have a brief chance to ogle your future wife. Rollo seized such an opportunity during "To the Gates!," earning him his first glimpse of Princesses Gisla (Morgane Polanski).

"There is no romance yet for my character, but it goes in that direction, definitely," Polanski teased, according to Yahoo!. "In history, actually, Rollo and my character...they got married. That's what it is in history [but] I don't know where it's going to go and how much is going to happen."

It seems the warrior's moment of distraction is just a harbinger of his future love life, although it may not be a mistake he is willing to make again in the future.

"There's a line that may or may not be in the episode, I remember saying it around the table. Rollo says, 'You pay too much attention to the women,'" Stanton informed Zap2It. "He can't even follow his own advice because he goes up the wall after seeing the French princess and gets himself smacked in the face and falls from the battlement."
