McGarrett's team will hold the fate of all of paradise in their hands during the Hawaii Five-0 season 5 finale.

'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5: Finale Plot Revealed, Shocking News Comes For Kono & Danny

The Five-0 team is looking forward to celebrating Kono (Grace Park) and Adam's (Ian Anthony Dale) impending nuptials, but the return of an old villain will put a damper on the festivities.

"Literally we're saving the island," executive producer Peter Lenkov told TV Guide. "This is probably one of our biggest [finales] yet. The second half of the episode has our guys saving the day in their tuxedos. ... They're trying to get to the wedding and they have to sort of save the world before they get there."

Lenkov didn't say which villain the crime fighters will encounter during "A Make Kaua (Until We Die)," but there is a good chance Gabriel Waincroft (Christopher Sean) is involved. From the plot summary, however, it sounds like Waincroft will be pulling strings in the background a la Wo Fat.

"On the eve of Kono's wedding to Adam, Five-0 must stop a fanatical patriot intent on starting a new war on terror by detonating stolen nuclear warheads and framing a terrorist leader," CBS teased in regards to the finale.
