Scott McCall and his ragtag pack will return to MTV on June 29 and June 30 at 10 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET respectfully.

While no official episode title have been released, series creator Jeff Davis previously tweeted that the initial episode will, quite appropriately, be title "Creatures of the Night."

"On the eve of Senior Year, Scott and his friends find themselves facing the possibility of a future without each other, a next phase of their lives that might take them in different directions despite their best intentions," MTV teased of season 5. "Little do they know that outside forces are already plotting to break the pack apart long before they ever see graduation."

It is currently unknown exactly who the season's villains will be, but the first promo indicated that they will be some form of doctors who have some twisted tortures planed for the town's supernatural inhabitants.

Heralded as the darkest storyline yet, it seems the 20-episode season will not be easy on our teenage heroes.
