Floki's murderous transgression is no longer a secret on Vikings.

It is unclear how long Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) has known who delivered Athelstan (George Blagden) to his Christ-God, and the uncertainty will leave Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) twisting in the wind as season 4 sets sail.

Series creator Michael Hirst weighed in on the wedge between the boatbuilder and his king, indicating that Ragnar has already started to exact his revenge. Now that Floki's reputation is in shambles, how much farther will Ragnar's anger propel their feud?

"You can speculate on how long Ragnar has known it was Floki. Is that why he set Floki up to lead the attack, knowing he would fail? That's one valid interpretation -- that's Travis [Fimmel's] interpretation, by the way," Hirst told Zap2It, later warning that "Floki is going to be a big, big issue. In the coming season, that storyline takes very interesting twists and turns."
