Agents of SHIELD's Deathlok has received some substantial upgrades as of late - the man has rockets in his arms, for god's sake - but all the equipment in the world won't stop him from being picked apart by HYDRA.

Lincoln and Deathlok (J. August Richards) were whisked away by List in "The Frenemy of My Enemy," but Coulson (Clark Gregg) isn't about to let them wallow in an Arctic lab forever. No, the (real) director will rally his agents during "The Dirty Half Dozen," quickly moving to battle List's HYDRA minions once more.

Unfortunately, they will be too late to save Deathlok's highly technical eye...

"An who's there to look after Mike's injuries," Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) implores in a new clip (watch here) as she tries to find a place on Coulson's extradition team. "Ward? HYDRA's already removed Mike's eye, god knows what else they've don to him. He'll need a doctor, and preferably one already familiar with Deathlok's anatomical structure."

Well Simmons, it seems that job is all yours. Let's just hope Deathlok isn't already beyond help by time SHIELD launches its attack. According to Richards, his hero's abilities are constantly unfolding, so there is a good chance he has a few tricks up his rocket-laden sleeve viewers aren't yet privy to.

"Even in the comics, I feel like he's a character with a thousand powers that constantly unfold. It's a character with a lot of possibilities," Richards told Comic Book Resources. "And again, even with reading the comic, I feel like I can't put a finger on all of his powers and the things that come over time."
