The CW's post-apocalyptic drama will return for a third season in the spring, and the series writers are already hard at work turning out storylines for Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Co. As per usual, the forecast undoubtedly calls for blood and grime followed by a category five hurricane of devastation.

"Rewarding myself for finishing 301!!! It's damn good if I do say so myself," showrunner Jason Rothenberg announced on Thursday, informing fans that the writers' room has season 3 "all mapped out."

After the massive body count accrued in the season 2 finale, Rothenberg has warned viewers that The 100 will not back off when it comes to the series' deadly nature.

"Sorry, but I believe the mistake most shows make is NOT killing characters," Rothenberg told a disgruntled fan. "It's 1 reason why TV is so predictable."

Willing to kill of main characters with a swift jab to the corroded artery, The 100 is certainly anything but predictable.
