The 100's move to spring will not affect casting for season 3.

'The 100' Season 3: Premiere Delayed, Writers Confirm Filming Dates & Comic-Con Appearance

The CW opted to push the post-apocalyptic drama from the fall schedule, but this does not mean the series will change its filming timeline. The 100 will begin shooting in July, and the cast availability has already been confirmed.

For those who are hoping to see Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey) join the Grounders once more, the change in airdates won't make Debnam Carey any more or less available.

"The schedules are what they are," writer Shawna Benson stated. "I know many people are particularly interested if a certain Grounder Commander will be back in Season 3, and this news does not affect that one way or the other (and no, I can't say whether she will or won't be back. You can keep hounding Jason about that.)"

While the writers already know whether or not Debnam Carey will appear in season 3, The 100 has not made an announcement regarding the actress.
