'Basketball Wives LA' New Season: Shaunie O'Neal 'Tries To Bring Peace' But Gets Tossed Into Drama [VIDEO]
Shaunie O’Neal is back on Basketball Wives, and while this time she’s on the Los Angeles franchise versus Miami, she’s definitely bringing the drama with her.
She tries to bring all of the ladies together in spite of all of their issues, but somehow she gets tossed into it.
A synopsis of her cast profile on VH1’s website reads, “Shaunie is back in her hometown of Los Angeles and ver happy with where life is headed. With years of experience dealing with her Miami crew under her belt, for ‘Basketball Wives LA’ Season 4, Shaunie tries to bring some peace and resolve the LA girls’ issues.”

It also reveals she has a “new exciting dating life” and is working to “balance” her career and raising the children she had with her previous marriage to Shaquille O’Neal.
Shaunie might have tried to avoid the drama, but the network released a sneak peek that shows she goes head-to-head with none other than Brandi Maxiell, who is somewhat of a new girl herself. She just joined the show last season.
Maxiell calls out O’Neal and insults her; which O’Neal doesn’t seem to mind and replies, “I will be that for you.”
Tami Roman, who is also coming over to Los Angeles from the Miami cast, made it clear she doesn’t think it’s smart for Maxiell to “come for” Shaunie.
The narration for the clip also reveals there will be tension between the ladies of Miami and those of Los Angeles.
“When Miami’s biggest players come to LA, it won’t be a friendly game.”
